Two weeks ago, I had the honor of performing Maria Schneider’s “Walking by Flashlight” w/ Scott Robinson, @johnbeasleyofficial @johnjpatitucci & @kadscott for her at the 2025 @isjac_org Honors Celebration at @dizzysjazzclub . Thanks so much to @chuckowen54 not only for this opportunity to pay tribute to one of my musical heros, but to do so with such an incredible crew of musicians. An evening I’ll forever cherish 🙏🏼

What a thrill it was recording Brent Wallarab’s brilliant arrangements w/ Dave & a stellar 30-piece studio orchestra - and an honor being a featured soloist & serving as concertmaster.

So excited to be performing at the @walkertheatre in Indianapolis this afternoon as part of the @violincompindy ‘s Laureate Series with my quartet of 15+ years: @jesselewismusic / @ike.sturm / @jschonig + special guest @rachelcaswellvox . Phase 2 of Brent Wallarab’s new album complete - STRINGS! An amazing two days recording his gorgeous compositions/arrangements with these Indiana-based musicians, some of whom I’ve known since I was a little kid. Big thanks to @jnbelser , @richarddolemusic & Greg Reynolds for all they did to make this weekend’s session such a success, & to Maestro Wallarab for the invitation to be part of this project & concertmaster of such a stellar string section 🙏🏼

Sorting through a box of clothes from my days as a five-year-old, I found the dress I remember wearing the afternoon I tucked the violin under my chin for the first time & made sound come out of that tiny wooden instrument. Safe to say I was hooked from day one 🎻💕
